Soo, Monica's party/her brothers grad party was really really fun. :3 Me, her friend Nora (I love that name), and Michael came over for it at the mansion-type thing. It was fun. We did stuff. Monica got paid to take pictures of the underaged drinkers. x] At her house, though, the septic tank was filled so crap was bubbling up in the shower. Dx No one could really flush the toilet for awhile. One of her cousins pissed outside, too. Oh, and at the party they had this huge pig roast. You know, with the head and legs and all. It was delicious. I almost fell down the stairs a couple of times there, though. AND THEY HAD AN ELEVATOR. How cool is that? An elevator in your house.
I got to play Mario Kart at Monica's, too. It was what I expected. Fun for a little, but then it got boring. You lose and gain places way too quickly. I dunno. Like, it is a fun game, but it's not worth the money and it didn't meet the expectations of a lot of people.
Anywho, finals are this week. They start tomorrow, snd and 3rd period. That's math and Spanish. I haaate math. D: Spanish should be a pretty easy test though; all multiple choice. (Math's all multiple choice, too, but I'm not good at math.) I have to bring my textbook CD back to Spanish tomorrow, too. And I wrote that on my hand. Usually when I write things to remember on my hand I don't notice it or it washes off or something. But this time I DID see it and I DID remember. I was pretty proud of myself.

Prayers, more birthday stuff, and a bit of writing
Soo. At school, my friends Angie and Bronson started a Prayer circle at lunch. I was in it with them. :3 there were about twelve of us there, and we all sat down and held hands. Some people went around and took turns praying, saying what we're thankful for and all. Some kids laughed at us, too. But we just prayed for them. It was really nice to do that, and then we did it again today. More kids joined. =) The first time, though, while my head was gone and my eyes closed, someone stole my drink from behind me. I thought that was really messed up, I mean really, can you get any more low? Stealing from someone while they're praying...That got me mad, it did. =/ One of my friends showed me who did it, too.
On another note, it's Monica's birthday today! I'm supposed to go to her house tomorrow for her brother's graduation/her mini party with me and a few friends. It's going to be awesome! =D She's having it at her mom's friend's house, or it might be her aunt's, but anyway, it's this huge mansion type place. =D I may not be able to go though, because my mom might not pick me up from there. She's so....Nn sometimes it's stupid the way she sees things.
The last thing I wanted to mention is that no one ever writes in second person anymore. I know it's frowned upon in most jobs that pay for writing, but even just for fun I nearly never see anyone writing in second person. I'm bringing this up because I wrote this small article for Fanpop, and I wrote it in second person. I enjoy writing as such every once in a while, it's a nice break from the constant first and third.

Sick
Being sick is definitely not cool. I can't remember the last time I was actually sick. Usually, I get flu-like symptoms and then before it gets past much I feel better again. I guess my body has a good immune system. I hope that means I'll get over this cold soon. I feel like crap. My nose is runny and hurts to blow now, my eyes are all strained, my legs have deiced to be weak and not wanting to stand up, which is fine with my stomach because it wants me on the toilet all day. I actually went to school this morning. Did part of my exam, and essay, went to second period, got out and called my mom on the way to 3rd. She picked me up, thank God. <3
So anyway, I've read part of The Host. Only a little over 100 pages in, but it's pretty good so far.
Megan's birthday went well yesterday. She loved what I got her, and we both got our year books. We each got a full page in each other's signature section, too. :] We ended up taking each other's home and writing in them there because it was too crazy at school. Well, that's everything I feel like saying for now. I'm probably forgetting something I wanted to write, but who cares, I'm sick.

Books and bithdays
So, today is one of my best friend's, Megan's, birthday. She's been at her dad's all weekend so I haven't gotten to talk to her. I think she comes home around 5 or 6pm, so I'll call then. I don't know what she's doing for her birthday, either...Hnnn...It's also my best friend's, Monica's, birthday on the 23rd. So today I went and got their presents. I know what you're thinking 'You got her present on the day OF?!' Yeah, I did. Only because originally I had planned on getting Megan a Death Note/Ouran High School Host Club anime plushie. But nooo. After months and months of having them in stock at FYE and Boraders, I go there and they're gone. My mom wouldn't let me order it off Ebay, either. So. Pfft. Well, the both of them love to read like I do, so I decided to get them books. =) I always get Monica a book for her birthday and Christmas, though, so that's no suprise.
While walking into Boarders with my father and brother, lo and behold, Stephenie Meyer's new book The Host is sitting on display for my pretty eyes to see. $25, 30% off...who could pass that up? Well, I wasn't supposed to get a book, but a grabbed it anyway and held onto for dear life as I planned to beg my way into its pages. Off I went to grab Megan and Monica a book. I got Megan's book first, knowing I was getting her a manga (Her new obsession. She's borrowing them from everyone...). I got her the first volume of Vampire Knight, if you're curious. I'm sure she'll love it. :3 Then I made my way around various genre's and age groups looking for a book for Monica. HEr's wasn't hard either, we read the same kind of books and I know what she's like. I got her The Life of Pi which I discovered there after seeing the video someone posted on Fanpop regaurding that book and Good Omens (Which I will talk about later). Anyway, we both saw The Life of Pi, and she agreed that it looked interesting, so I figured that'd be a good book to get her. Now, with the three books in hand, I travled around looking for my dad until I saw him talking to this elderly man autographing books about the local area that he'd written. I get there and my dad introduces me to him. He asks what kind of books I like, and after I did he concluded to my dad that I would find his books unintersting because 'that's the type of reader I am right now'. Then he took my books from me, picking up The Host and estimating how many pages it contained. He was pretty darn close, not that that matters...Then he told me to put my hands together as if I was about to clap, I did so, and he was all 'Yep, you definitely enjoy fiction novels like you said.' Then he told me to clasp them together, and I did. He told me he could tell I liked them by the way my thumbs were...Okay, this guy was starting to annoy me, I wanted to leave. He proceeded in asking me about my school, my mom's job, and then my dad. It was all very weird. We finally got out of there though. So now I have my big speech in which to persuade my dad with and he points to it and goes 'What's that book for?'. My expresison faultered and I replied with '....me?'. He said okay. Was it really that simple? Guess so...The total was $51.00 with my brother's two magazines.
At home, eager to read The Host, I grabbed Good Omens, the book I'd started and neglected to read for a few weeks but was now at the very end of. Fantastic, fantastic book. I sat there and finished it. I'm going to message the fanpopper who posted it as well as the Youtube user who orginially did in thanks, for they combined led me to read it. That's about my day in a nutshell. Now I just need to call Megan and wish her a happy birthday...

Lots of ramblings
Gah. So, today went from pretty nice to pretty horrible. I'll start with the bad. My mom. My mom and dad are divorced, by the way. Anyway, our school year books are $75. Expensive, I know. So I suggested that my mom and dad both pay for half because I wanted one, I love year books. At first my mom said okay, and then it was time for me to go to my dad's. While there, my step-mom informed me that we can't afford to live in our crappy, two bedroom, apartment type building. It sucks. So we have to move in about 9 months. I feel bad enough as it is, my dad works Monday through Friday for a air conditioning company from 5am-5pm and on Fridays and Saturdays he work from 6pm till as late as 3am in the morning at a bar so he can make enough money to scratch the bills. We're 15k in debt, yet they still manage to buy me, my sister, and my brother the things we want. My step-mom gives me the money, $35 to put towards my yearbook. So I'm feeling bad for taking the money when we're so low as it is. Then I come home and ask my mom if I could have the rest now, and she delves into this huge complaint about how expensive it is, how outrageous the price is, how I only need a yearbook for my senior year. We're nowhere near as tight on money here. We're not in debt at all. The car is payed off, we have the smallest mortgage you could think of, and we're living of $200 of unemployment over the summer well enough. Plus, my dad pays something like $400 in child support to her. But you know, it just KILLS her to give me that money. But I didn't make too big a deal about it. I told her whatever, that I wouldn't get the yearbook, and she finally leaves me alone. Then, God knows why, she calls my dad's house. Her and my step-mom never get along. Have never. Will never. They're very different people with views on completely different levels. Originally, she meant to talk to my dad, but he was at a meeting. But she couldn't hang up the phone when she found that out, nooo. She talks to my step-mom, Patty, and gets into this big argument. Patty basically told her that she was a selfish, greedy mother and my mom went off the deep end. She came into my room again just as my cell rang. Guess who, Patty. So I ask my mom if I should answer it and she's said go ahead. So I did. patty told me she was defending me, blah blah blah. And then my mom starts yelling, asking me if that's what I thought [that she doesn't treat me right, greedy, etc] and I kept telling her no, that she was a good mom. That's not good enough for her. She kept asking if I thought that, why Patty would say such things, and on and on. I kept telling her no, and asking her why she even called. Again, she left. If that's not enough, she comes back again 10 minutes later with a checkbook. 'How much do you want? Sky's the limit. I'll buy you whateverrrr you want.' in this demi-sarcastic voice. And I told her n0. We had basically them same shouting conversation as we did 10 minutes previous, and then she left. And now we're not talking. And. Parents suck. Having them divorced sucks. Everything sucks.
-sighs- Now that that's off my chest....
The Rapids was fun. my cousin couldn't come, but I went on a lot of the rides with my uncles. Rode the lazy river a bit. Went in the wave pool. Was pretty fun overall. I did get a sunburn though. :[
At school, the seniors last day is technically tomorrow, but almost all of them have gone already. Most of my senior friends left yesterday and I didn't realize it until later, so I was sad...but then I saw the ones I cared most about today. The ones that I mentioned briefly in my first post about the journalism class and the writing and such. Boy, I'm really going to miss them. <3
I bought 1984, by George Orwell . We have to read it over the summer. As well as one other book from this list they gave us. But George Orwell is the same person who wrote Animal Farm. I'm sure you've heard of at least one of those books, as they're popular among the masses. I don't know if 1984 is any good, though. My school is full of non-readers, so they all told me it sucked. I have suspicions that they didn't even try to enjoy it because it was required though. And I doubt they read everything. So, I dunno. I'm personally looking forward to reading it. Oh, know what else I learned today? It's grammatically incorrect to say something like 'moving towards', it's supposed to be 'moving toward'. Huh. Never knew that. Thought it was interesting.
Well, after getting all of that out of my system, I think I'm good now. I feel a little better.

Permit, Myspace, Rapids
Sooo....I got my driver's permit today. :D That's pretty awesome, if I do say so myself. I've planned to go take the tests and get it every week for about two months now. Something has always happened that's prevented me from having it. But, I have it now. I drove home from my dad's to my mom's. My dad was being a real butt on the way, annoying me and such, but I guess it was pretty cool.
An another note, that 'own your friends' thing on Myspace? Yeah, I found that pretty entertaining. When you explain it to someone it sounds stupid, but I think it's actually a cute little addition to Mysapce seeing as how I find it very boring in a normal basis. Nn. I just bit my tongue. D: Now it's bleeding...not cool.
Finally, I wanted to say that I'm going to the Rapids on Sunday, on mothers day! If you don't know what that is, it's this fun water park with a whole bunch of water rides. I'm going with my family, which isn't the best, and I tried to bring a friend but that didn't work out. Still, it should be fun and I'm looking froward to it. I'm going to see if I can snag a day home from school on Monday, too. Speaking of mother's day, thought, I picked a card up for my mom today. Nothing big. I think I'll make her a homemade one too, just because she likes that kind of thing. That's all for now, see ya.

Mindless Self Indulgence and mouthwash
So, recently I've been obsessed with the techno/punk/metal/rock band Mindless Self Indulgence, or MSI for short. I really like their style, it's very unique and I like the combination of techno and rock. Their lyrics are all crazy and stuff, gotta love it. They just released a new album yesterday, I think. Called 'if'. :3 I want it. I'm listening to them now, actually, on their Myspace. (http://www.myspace.com/mindlessselfindulgence) Oh, and on Fanpop.com (best website ever, my username is ToastedRabbits if you feel like fanning me) I posted tons of crap on the MSI spot. Which, sadly, doesn't have a lot of fans...but I'll talk about Fanpop some other time.

On another note, I've realized that I love mouthwash. The taste, the feeling afterwards. :3 I do it up to three times in a row sometimes...which can't be healthy, but whatever. At least I know I'm killing 99.3% of plaque. :3 However, I only really like mint mouthwash. I can deal with citrus, but...meh.
